Any consultant and user in any project always desire all master data be OK before and after go-live. But not anytime, we control everything is right. We can not check master data by export from system and use Excel or any tools to check. That is really waste time.


Make report use to check exist BOM – Routing – Production Version.

Check Standard Price of Materials. Check Product Cost Collectors.


  • Table in order to check data: MARC, EINA, KONP, EINE, MAKT, MAST, MAPL, MKAL, KEKO, AUFK, MBEW,EORD, A017.
  • Create Z- Table Structure: ZPP_VIEW

Create Z – Table Structure.

What is Table Structure ?

A structure is just simple a list of fields defined under a name. Structures are useful for painting screen fields, and for manipulating data that has a consistent format defined by a discrete number of fields. Use transaction code SE11 to create table structure. Structure in ABAP can not store data >> Don’t use SE16N to display data from table structure.


Go to transaction code: SE11

Choose Data Type >> Enter name of Z – table: ZPP_VIEW >> Click Create

  • Tab Components

Use Component Type: BIZCS_SM_PDCT_DES – structure for data with length s 128. ( This is CHAR type – length 128 ).

Or can use any component type that have enough length for your data.

Click Save  >> Active Table Structure. ( Click Check Exist BOM button )


You can copy one exist table structure to new table structure then edit. Go to transaction code : SE11 >> Enter any exist table structure. Click Copy >> Enter new table structure.

Beside create table structure. SE11 can be used for editing and processing ABAP Dictionary Objects.

Objects belonging to the ABAP Dictionary include:

  • Data types
    • Data elements and domains
    • Structures
    • Table types
  • Database tables
  • Views
  • Lock objects
  • Search helps
